Watch the DJI Osmo Pocket live release event

The DJI Osmo Pocket was announced during a live event for a select group of invitees in New York City on November 28th. The event was not live streamed on DJI’s website (like usual) or by any YouTubers who showed up for the event.

DJI accidentally confirmed the new product for the November 28th release

We’re only one day away from the “Because Life is Big” event and we’ve seen photos and videos of the Osmo Pocket. While these leaks are most likely an indication of what’s to come, DJI will not publicly announce the new product until the release event in New York on November 28th at 2 PM EST (tomorrow).

The latest teaser was also posted on the DJI forum in this thread by the forum administrator (DJI Panda):

The accidental confirmation

When hovering the mouse pointer over images in the DJI forum, some of them pop up a description with details about the photo. The details for this photo shows the filename of the image file was osmo_pocke_倒计时_02_980x444.png when it was uploaded to the forum. That translates to osmo_pocke_Countdown_02_980x444.png (Osmo Pocket countdown).

DJI is hosting an event on November 28th at 2 PM EST in New York to announce a new product. Per the usual, DJI made this cryptic trailer to foreshadow the upcoming event.

What’s going to be released?

Through a series of recent tweets, DroningON confirmed they have the new product in hand and that it’s definitely not the long-awaited Phantom 5.
